A Right Cozy Historical Crime

I am happy to announce that I have just signed a contract for a short story I wrote to be included in an anthology edited by Wendy H Jones and published by Scott & Lawson Publishing. This was something of a departure for me, as I have never written in the 'cozy crime' genre before. My story is set at Cambridge University between the world wars and features a crime-solving porter and housekeeper who outwit all the academics of their college in solving a spate of thefts and a case of blackmail. My short story is called Blackmail by Degrees.
Although I have not yet read all the stories included, I do know they are set in varying eras from the Stone Age to the twentieth century, guaranteeing there should be something for everyone in this collection.
I understand it should be available to pre-order from November, making it a perfect choice for a Christmas present or an escape from the clutches of a stormy end to the year.
Meanwhile I continue to polish two completed novels and have made a good start on the fourth and final instalment of The Richard Davey Chronicles, although all of this has been on hold recently as I try to complete my round of the Munros. Three summits to go until I can pop the champagne!
